Dromara Cycling Club
Club League 2008
Results

Dromara Cycling Club run a club league each year incorporating both time trials and road races.  This year there will be 24 events, two 2-up time trials, ten 10 mile time trials, five road races, three time trials greater than 10 miles and two less than 10 miles.  There will also be one hill climb event and an Aussie Pursuit.  Download a full club calender for 2008 here.

Members have a time handicap and get awarded points depending on their performance.  For road races the maximum points is 50 and for time trials the maximum points is 40.  The table below shows how the points differ per event.  Those riders who come along to an event and help with organising either as a timekeeper or as a marshall receive points as well.  For both time trials and races, the lowest points you can get is 25.  However, riders get no points if they start the event but do not finish it.  At the end of the year there are trophies for both first and second place.
