10 mile Individual Time Trial - Lurgan Road, Dromore

Round 5 of Dromara CC's club league was held this evening with nineteen riders lining up for the tough 10 mile time trial. This week's entry included four guests, two from Apollo and two from West Down Wheelers. The venue was the Lurgan Road from Dromore side heading west and turning just past the New Forge Road and Drumlin Road junction (map)

The weather was very pleasant, dry, bright with only a strong wind on the way back keeping the night from being perfect. Derek Hanna was again acting as timekeeper and had a successful night in terms of getting the riders away and clocking them returning. Many thanks Deek. It'll not be long before he will be back in the saddle and doing the time trials himself. Strange entry for this evening was Paul Smyth who showed up with his winter bike, but still set a great time. Well done Paul.
