A bright dry day was welcome
sight for the team of 6 Dromara members, so far from home.
Bob, Raymond, Paul, Mac,
Stephen and Trevor, set out from Ballygalley, at 10.00, half an hour before the official start, but it was cold standing about 70 miles, 45 of which was flat lay ahead.
The very steep climbs of Torr
Head, were very tough, but the sun was out and nobody walked.
On to Ballycastle and we went
into a pub in Cushendall for soup and coffee. A large turn out for this memorial event for a cyclist who died of cancer this year at the age of 37. A medal was given to all finishers by his girl friend.
