The morning started of dry and
sunny but was to turn damp before long. This was most
likely the reason for the poor entry of only thirteen as the
Dromara hills are not the best place to be when the weather
breaks.
Originally the Trailquest
duration was to be 3 1/2 hours but due to the unsettled weather
this was shortened to 3 hours. Unfortunately a check was not
made to see that everyone was aware of this with the result that
one team came in 30 minutes late. After much deliberation it was
decided the fairest compromise would be to remove 1/7 of their
score.
