Children’s Gymkhana 2025

As part of the Dromara Village Festival, Dromara Cycling Club held a Children’s Cycling Gymkhana at the Dromara Village Centre on Monday 16 June 2025. Thirty one young riders signed on to attempt their fastest times on the 6 sections. The weather was warm and it stayed dry.

Stage 1 was 3 double ramps, Stage 2 had a chicane, Stage 3 had wooden edging rolls, Stage 4 was a bridge obstacle, cone lift with limbo bar, Stage 5 was a track built around the grass and Stage 6 was a lap of the pump track. Riders got their time recorded on their time sheet and were allowed up to attempt each stage more than once. At the finish they received a bag of crisps and a well earned drink of juice.
