Sunday 17th December see’s the club host it’s annual Christmas Stew Run, which is has been going on a for a few years now and is one of the most popular club runs of the year. It starts at 10am.
There will be an A(No one gets left behind) and B(really no one gets left behind) group to suit abilities, and they will follow the usual route starting in Dromara, then onto Drumaroad, Spa, Ballynahinch, Downpatrick, then round by Tyrella beach then home via the Carnreagh road for the fast finish from Guinness School to Dromara. It will total around 50 miles.
After that all members will meet in O’Reillys where they will be provided with a big bowl of stew, with a few celebratory drinks optional.
This run is restricted to club members only, and we hope to see a big crowd out to join up and have a bit of craic before the Christmas holidays. Fancy Dress is recommended and Mud Guards are mandatory.
