Another sunny Gymkhana

Dromara Cycling Club hosted their annual Children’s Gymkhana on Monday 10 June 2019 as part of the Dromara Community Festival. The event was held at the Dromara Community Centre which has seen some great investment since last year with a newly tarmaced playing area, removal of a dividing wall, new nets for football and basketball, new climbing frame about to be opened as well as a newly developed pump track. The gymkhana is advertised to the local schools and community and had attracted almost 60 young riders out on a warm June evening.

As usual there were 6 timed skills zones to challenge the riders. There was a mixture of ramps, rubble strips, off camber grass sections, limbo bar, a running section etc. Well done to all who took part. Afterwards the riders and adults could enjoy some snacks.
